Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Drew Traver (“we”, “us”), which operates Show Tracker Web at showtrackerweb.com. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Show Tracker Web lets you keep a list of TV shows and movies, check off episodes and movies you've watched, see air dates, similar titles and what's trending, and rate titles. Show and movie information comes from TMDB and TVmaze; we can't guarantee it is complete or correct.

Show Tracker Web is a separate service from the Show Tracker iPhone app. Accounts and purchases are not shared between them.

Your account

• You need a valid email address and must be at least 13 years old.
• Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don't use automated tools to create accounts or scrape the service.

Free trial and Unlimited

• Launch period: until we announce otherwise, every account has every feature free of charge, with no limit on shows and movies. When the launch period ends we'll email you, and every account then gets a full 30-day free trial starting that day. No payment or card is needed for the trial, and you are not charged. One trial per account.
• Unlimited: after the trial, $2.99 per year (plus any sales tax or VAT that applies) keeps every feature. You can subscribe at any time, including during the trial; your paid year starts when you subscribe.
• Read-only: if you don't subscribe by the end of the trial, your account becomes read-only. You can log in and view your list, but you can't add or remove titles, check off episodes or movies, or rate anything. Nothing is deleted, and subscribing restores full access.
• Automatic renewal: once you subscribe, your subscription renews automatically every year at the same price until you cancel. If the price ever changes, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
• Cancelling: you can cancel any time from your Account page. Unlimited continues until the end of the period you've paid for; then your account becomes read-only. Nothing on your list is deleted, and you can subscribe again at any time.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for all our orders. Lemon Squeezy provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, get into other people's accounts, get around the trial or read-only limits, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

Third-party content

Titles, posters, descriptions and ratings come from TMDB, and air dates from TVmaze. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Their content belongs to its owners.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Show Tracker Web running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or add features. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give account holders at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused part of a paid year.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; this removes your lists immediately. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription by itself — cancel Unlimited first so you aren't charged again.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nevada, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and email account holders before the change takes effect.
